A website where expats feel at home

EXPATLEGAL is a Czech boutique law firm that guides individuals and companies through the complex legal world, from immigration matters to employment contracts to real estate and family law. Our task was to create a website that reflects exactly what EXPATLEGAL is: professional, human, and approachable. We left out the classic lengthy legal texts and 90s-style design, and instead went with a clean, modern, and clear online space where every expat can find everything they need to resolve, without getting lost in paragraphs of legal code.

The overall visual style preserves the law firm's credibility while avoiding coming across as distant or unnecessarily complicated. The text content follows the same logic. Instead of complex legal jargon, we chose simple language that works across target groups. It speaks to both corporate clients handling recruitment and employee relocation, and individuals who are just starting to find their way through the whole topic. This is reflected in the website's layout itself, which is built on two main approaches to navigation.

The first is classic navigation with content like About Us, Blog, Careers, and Contact, which provides basic company information and builds trust. The second approach goes straight to the heart of the matter and organizes content according to clients' needs. Each of these paths leads to the same goal, just in a different way, so that it's as simple as possible for clients.
